BEAST Hockey Defence Skills is built around the idea that great teams start from the back end. Players learn the key fundamentals of strong defensive play — from perfecting their gap control and body positioning to mastering stick placement and angling.
The training focuses on teaching players how to read the game, anticipate plays, and make quick, smart decisions under pressure. By breaking down defensive movements and scenarios, athletes gain the confidence and awareness to shut down opponents while still maintaining composure with the puck in both the offensive and defensive zones.
Skaters can join the programs at any time.
Our priority is to make sure each child enjoys being on the ice!

TEACHING FOCUS
BEAST players work on their strength, skating power, and battle skills to ensure they can win puck races and protect their net with authority. At the same time, the program teaches poise and vision, helping defensemen become reliable puck movers who can transition play and support their teammates offensively.
CLASS NOTES
PLEASE NOTE: There are no classes on stat holidays, PA Days, Christmas Camp and March Break Camp days. Sessions can not be used for any other program. You must sign your child into classes online before attending. Cancellations are only accepted 8 hours before class start time. If you cancel after this time you will not be refunded a session.
